- I just came across the term “system-impacted” for the first time and it’s a really nice “A”.
- It allows a completely different perspective, reframe, vs e.g. “criminal”
- But it also feels very broad. A very clean neat label for self-understanding too. “Oh, I was that was because I was system-impacted (the system being, the whole of my life up until that point)“.
- This feels like it makes something Thinkable that had always been mostly-unthinkable-but-there-in-a-nascent-form.
- And I guess that’s what learning is. Making more thoughts thinkable, allow you to point more precisely, allowing you to have more complex thoughts, etc.
